</span></p>
						<p><span style="font-size:12.000000pt;font-family:'CyGrotesk';">Randa is a freelance photographer based in Cairo. She is the
founder and photo editor of the Photography Department at the
Egyptian Al-Shorouk newspaper. She formerly worked as a
photographer for Al-Ahram weekly and as a photographer and
designer of children’s books at Dar Al-Fata Al-Arabi Publishing
House, and as co-editor of Zawaya Magazine.
</span></p>
						<p><span style="font-size:12.000000pt;font-family:'CyGrotesk';">Randa is a mentor with the Arab Documentary Photography
program funded by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC).
She has previously taught photojournalism at the American
University of Cairo (AUC). She has held many exhibitions in and
outside of Egypt and published four books.

</span></p>
						<p><span style="font-size:12.000000pt;font-family:'CyGrotesk';">Salma Olama is a photographer, filmmaker and writer working
primarily with documentary and archival work. She graduated with
a degree in Film Studies and a minor in English &amp; Comparative
Literature from the American University in Cairo in 2021, she also
studied Photography at Parson’s School of Design, The New School
in New York in 2020. She has had her work exhibited in both Cairo
and New York, in Cocoon Cultural Center, Au Manége Arts Festival,
and Slow Burn NYC and has had her work published in I-D, El
Ahram, and Cooper Magazine. She started the Archiving Strangers
project in 2021.

<p><span style="font-size:16px;"><b>Nada is a multidisciplinary artist and curator. Their work includes illustration, painting, and installations. They attended Brighton university where they received a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Art. They are passionate about community building and facilitation in arts/culture, and have returned to Cairo to engage with the cultural and artistic scene at home. Most recently Nada had an open studio at the end of their artist residency at Modzi Arts in Lusaka, Zambia.</b></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px;"><b>The workshop will begin with an introduction to cyanotypes, an interesting and simple photographic printing process. Participants can use their photographs and other transparent or semi transparents objects or drawings to experiment on A4 paper. We will then cut the paper, and turn our experiments into a tiny 8 page Zine if we want to!</b></span></p>
